The Institute staff along with members of the Church Mobilization team just landed on a red-eye from Seattle. Immediately following the Willow Creek Leadership Summit we hopped a plane to Portland for a packed 24 hours during which we trained Justice Advocates before driving up to Seattle for another packed 24 hours focused on training Justice Advocates.
What, or rather, who, are Justice Advocates?
International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local governments to ensure victim rescue, to prosecute perpetrators and to strengthen the community and civic factors that promote functioning public justice systems.
